Join Scarborough Kiwanis for a day of fun, fishing, and prizes. Their 38th annual fishing derby is a great family event. All proceeds benefit the Scarborough community and attendees are encouraged to bring donations of non-perishable food items for the Scarborough Food Pantry. K-Kids (the organization’s program for students in grades 3-5) sells worms at the event as a fundraiser for their group.
Where: Bayley’s Camping Resort, 275 Pine Point Road, Scarborough
When: Saturday, May 3, 9am-12pm (rain date is Saturday, May 10)
Cost: Free for kids ages 4-15
Prizes: Door prizes for event sponsors and prizes for the largest bass and largest trout in three age categories: 4-7 years, 8-11 years, and 12-15 years.
