Annual Pumpkin Carving Night | Friday, October 23; 6–8 p.m., Scarborough Community Services Hub, 418 Payne Road, Scarborough, ME
Show off your pumpkin carving skills and leave the cleanup to us! Get in the spooky spirit by joining us for a night of games, treats and pumpkin guts. This event is perfect for families and friends of all ages to enjoy. Register ahead to make sure you get a pumpkin! Carving supplies provided. Costumes encouraged. Admission is free.
Hike for Hospice | Saturday, October 24, beginning at 9:30 a.m.Hospice of Southern Maine, 390 US Route One, Scarborough
Take in the fall colors while supporting Hospice of Southern Maine. Choose a 2.25- or 4.5-mile route connecting to the Eastern Trail, then stick around for music, food, lawn games, prizes, and a kids’ scavenger hunt. Registration is $25.
Mamma Mia! | November 20–22
Scarborough High School
The Oak Hill Players take the stage with Mamma Mia!, the feel-good musical built around the songs of ABBA. A young bride’s search for the father she has never known brings three men from her mother’s past together just before her wedding. Expect familiar songs, plenty of laughs, and lots of local talent.
Full Moon Walk on Scarborough Marsh | Sunday, October 25, 5:30–7 p.m., Pine Point Parking Area, 138 Pine Point Road
See Scarborough Marsh in a whole new light during a guided evening walk along the Eastern Trail. Enjoy the quiet of the marsh as daylight fades and the full moon rises overhead. The walk is free, but advance registration is required.
Passport Day | Wednesday, November 25, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

Scarborough Community Services is hosting a Passport Acceptance Fair to help you submit U.S. passport applications. We will have all necessary forms available for your convenience, but we HIGHLY recommend checking all requirements and fees prior to the event. Appointments are encouraged for those who don’t want to wait, but drop-ins are welcome! To schedule an appointment or ask questions, call 207-730-4150. |

Start your holiday shopping at the annual Home for the Holidays Craft Show. Browse a juried collection of work from regional craftspeople.The two-day show takes place at Scarborough High School, and admission is free.
